The KISS, MARRY, CLIFF Tag!

Hello guys! Today I am doing the KISS, MARRY, CLIFF TAG! I wasn't actually tagged by anyone but I think it is a really fun tag and I'm doing it! If you don't know what the Kiss, Marry, Cliff tag is, basically I will be drawing three papers of a bucket that is full of book characters names and I'll choose who I would kiss, who I would marry and who I would throw off a cliff! I'm so exciteeeeed! Let's get this started!

 ROUND 1:

Lord Voldemort: CLIFF            Damon Salvatore: MARRY        Augustus Waters: KISS
From Harry Potter                     From The Vampire Diaries        From The Fault in our Stars

I would definitely kill Lord Voldemort, no explanation needed. I love Damon Salvatore so incredible much, so I would marry him. And I also love Gus but not as much as I love Damon. I think that making out with Damon would be really awesome and that Augustus would be a really good husband, but that's my definitive choice.

ROUND 2:

Adam Wilde: MARRY                Edward Cullen: KISS                 Four: CLIFF
From If I Stay                               From Twilight                             From Divergent

I love Adam, he is so sweet and an awesome boyfriend (And he has a band!). I read Twilight a long time ago but I was team Edward and really liked him, I don't know how I feel about him right now. I don't like Four very much (Sorry!) so I'm trowing him off the cliff.

ROUND 3:

Finnick Odair: MARRY                   Newt: KISS                                  Luke Castellan: CLIFF
From The Hunger Games               From The Maze Runner           From Percy Jackson

Finnick is one of my fictional boyfriends, I love him so much and I hate Mockingjay because... No spoilers but I'm not really happy about what happens to Finnick. So I would marry Finnick. I would kiss Newt, he is my favourite Maze Runner character, I love him so much and he is so cute! I don't really like Luke but he is so gorgeous... Bye Luke.

ROUND 4:

Will Herondale: MARRY                Thomas: KISS                                    Jonathan/Sebastian
From The Infernal Devices             From The Maze Runner                  Morgenstern: CLIFF
                                                                                                                                 From The Mortal
                                                                                                                                 Instruments

I would marry Will Herondale because he is Will Herondale. No explanation needed! And I would have to Ascend and become a Shadowhunter to marry him and that would be really cool. Thomas is not my favourite character in the world, he is indeed a good character, so I wouldn't mind kissing him (and I wouldn't mind kissing Dylan O'Brien either, so...). I don't like Sebastian at all (but I cried in City of Heavenly Fire, you know why!) so I would totally throw him of a cliff.

ROUND 5:

Percy Jackson: KISS              Jace Herondale: MARRY            James Carstairs: CLIFF
From Percy Jackson              From The Mortal Instruments   From The Infernal Devices

Oh God!!! This is like one of the hardest decisions of my life! I love all these characters so much! I would marry Jace because I love him to death and I would love to be married to him. Percy Jackson is my babyyyy!! He was one of the first fictional characters that I really loved and fangirlied over! And Jem! I'm team Wessa but I love James so much! And I can't believe that I'm doing this but I'm throwing Jem of the cliff. *sobs*

 ROUND 6:

Harry Potter: KISS                     Peeta Melark: MARRY
From Harry Potter                     From The Hunger Games
                                                                                                                     Christian Ozera: CLIFF
                                                                                                                 From Vampire Academy

I would kiss Harry Potter because he is cute, and a wizard, and the chosen one... Yeah.... I would marry Peeta because he is so sweet and I think he would be the perfect husband. I like Christian but I'll have to throw him of a cliff. Sorry Christian!

When I look at all these pictures I realize that we basically only need the rest of The Mortal   Instruments movies and The Infernal Devices movies! :D
I thought that 6 rounds would be enough but I want to do more!!! This is so much funnnnn!!! I tag anyone that want to do this tag! Maybe I'll do this again in the future! This is definitely one of my favourite tags ever! <3 <3 <3

Sorry if there are any spelling errors! I don't speak english fluently so I apologize. :)

August Wrap Up & September TBR

I read more books that I expected for this month of August! On my last TBR I said that I intended to read 6 books. And I did! I'm really glad that I did, it's not all the same books that I intended to read on my TBR but I'm fine with that.
The books that I read in August are:

1- The Last Letter from your Lover (2.5/5) (I read it in Portuguese, A Última Carta de Amor)

I gave it 3 stars on Goodreads but I feel like giving it 2.5 stars. Check out my review here.
This was on my August TBR so √

  2- Obsidian (5/5)

This book is so freaking good! Oh my God! It's probably one of my favourites! Daemon Black gives me the feels! I wasn't bored or annoyed for a second! I loved it! And I'm so excited to read the next one!
This was on my August TBR so √

  3- The Giver (3/5)

If you think that my 3 stars for The Giver is not fair check out my review here to know why I gave it 3 stars.
This was on my August TBR so √

  4- If I Stay (5/5)

I loved this book so much! That's why I gave it 5 stars! Check out my review here to know my thought on If I Stay.
This was on my August TBR so √

  5- Where She Went (4/5)

I gave it 5 stars on Goodreads but thinking about it now I think it's a 4 stars kind of book. Loved it. Don't have a review on it but I recommend if you have read If I Stay.

 6- Vampire Academy (4.5)

I really liked this book just like I liked the movie. :) It's very good  and I'm very excited to read the next one!

I don't usually read that many books in a month and I'm surprised and happy because I read that many books! I'm probably gonna read only two or three books this month because of school :(

  Now my TBR!

 Jane and the Damned

I only bought this book because it was $2.00 and I liked the cover (and it's about vampires!). But I don't know if I want to read it! Apparently it is a series, I'm not sure. I started reading it yesterday and let's see how it goes...

Aspiring writer Jane Austen knows that respectable young ladies like herself are supposed to shun the Damned—the beautiful, fashionable, exquisitely seductive vampires who are all the rage in Georgian England in 1797. So when an innocent (she believes) flirtation results in her being turned—by an absolute cad of a bloodsucker—she acquiesces to her family’s wishes and departs for Bath to take the waters, the only known cure.

But what she encounters there is completely unexpected: perilous jealousies and further betrayals, a new friendship and a possible love. Yet all that must be put aside when the warring French invade unsuspecting Bath—and the streets run red with good English blood. Suddenly only the staunchly British Damned can defend the nation they love . . . with Jane Austen leading the charge at the battle’s forefront.

The Maze Runner

It was on my August TBR but I didn't read it. I wanna read the book before the movie!

"If you ain't scared, you ain't human."

When Thomas wakes up in the lift, the only thing he can remember is his name. He's surrounded by strangers--boys whose memories are also gone.

Outside the towering stone walls that surround the Glade is a limitless, ever-changing maze. It's the only way out--and no one's ever made it through alive.

Then a girl arrives. The first girl ever. And the message she delivers is terrifying.

The Assassin's Curse

I've heard a lot of good things about this book and this cover is gorgeous! And I also heard that this series will stop being published, something about the publisher or something. So I'm gonna buy it and try to read it as soon as possible!

Ananna of the Tanarau abandons ship when her parents try to marry her off to another pirate clan. But that only prompts the scorned clan to send an assassin after her. When Ananna faces him down one night, armed with magic she doesn't really know how to use, she accidentally activates a curse binding them together.

To break the spell, Ananna and the assassin must complete three impossible tasks--all while grappling with evil wizards, floating islands, haughty manticores, runaway nobility, strange magic...and the growing romantic tension between them.

And that's it for my August Wrap Up and for my September TBR! Hope you guys enjoyed and I'll see you next time! Bye!

Movie Review: If I Stay

Yesterday I watched the If I Stay movie and I loved it so much! Such an awesome book to movie adaptation! I loved it so freaking much! Even tho I didn't cry while reading the book I did cry when watching the movie. It is very emotional and I think that Chloe Moretz and Jamie Blackley did a good job at portraying Mia and Adam. I felt like I already had watched the movie because it was so much alike the book! There were some extra stuff that wasn't in the book but I really liked like some romantic scenes between Mia and Adam and that thing about the Julliard ceiling. So cute! I don't think that keeping Mia's father and Teddy alive for awhile was good idea, I don't know... I just didn't like it because it gave her and us so much hope. Other things that pissed me off was that they changed the name of Adam's band! Seriously! Maybe there was a good reason for it but the name that they chose (I don't even remember) wasn't as good as Shooting Star! And I also didn't like that Kim hasn't her signature braid! Was that so hard to do??? The way that they put the flashbacks between the hospital scenes was very good (just like in the book ;) and I recommend you all to watch it!

These are the reviews from my favourite booktubers:

Book Review: If I Stay

I've been writing a lot of book reviews lately, which is very odd for me. What are you guys thinking about them? If you have any suggestion, please comment on this post!

On a day that started like any other, Mia had everything: a loving family, a gorgeous, admiring boyfriend, and a bright future full of music and full of choices. In an instant, almost all of that is taken from her. Caught between life and death, between a happy past and an unknowable future, Mia spends one critical day contemplating the only decision she has left. It is the most important decision she'll ever make.
Simultaneously tragic and hopeful, this is a romantic, riveting, and ultimately uplifting story about memory, music, living, dying, loving.

Rating: ★★★★★

I finished this book yesterday night and I really thought that I was gonna cry reading it but I didn't. It is indeed a very emotional and moving book. I liked the way that the author divided the chapters, based on the time. And I also really liked how she managed to put the flashbacks between every "chapter". I gave it 5 stars on Goodreads! I very recommend this book and I'm so excited for the movie! A weird thing that I realized is that the girl in the cover has blue eyes and if I'm not wrong Mia doesn't have blue eyes!

THIS REVIEW WILL HAVE SPOILERS!

The first chapter was very shocking. I didn't know when the accident was going to happen, I thought it would take a while to happen but it was all so fast! Everything happened so quickly and I think that that was good because we were basically as shocked as Mia was. Till the time that Mia realizes that Teddy died, I was so worried about him! I was like "Where is Teddy?", "Is he dead?", "What happened to him?". I was extremely sad that Teddy and Mia's parents died.
I loved Adam and Mia's relationship! They were so cute together and Adam was just so... Ahhh! And Kim is so cool! I think she was a great character! And Teddy is really cute! And Mia's parents and grandparents were really cool. Everybody was really cool! Even the nurses.
The fact that Mia and Adam are both musicians and that Mia plays the cello! It's the first book that I've read that a character plays a cello!
Gayle Forman is a very good writer. I look forward to read more of her books. :)
This was very beautiful book and it was basically about Mia's choice. What will happen if she stays. If she can really stay. What she will choose. I don't think I have any more things to say about it, only that I loved this story!
I'm so excited for the movie! It looks like a really good book to movie adaptation!

   It looks so gooooood!!!!!
I heard that they won't stay together in the next book. Why??? Their love is juts so beautiful!!

Sorry if there are any spelling errors! I don't speak english fluently so I apologize. :)

July Wrap Up and August TBR

I know I am kind of late for this but this is my July Wrap up! I didn't read many books because I was traveling and I had little time to read. I read:

   City of Heavenly Fire (5/5)

   > I loved it! This book is just so perfect. Cassandra Clare never lets us down. With her incredible writing she fixed, completed and ended everything beautifully and my heart was racing during this entire reading. Her books always make me feel so happy and CoHF couldn't have surprised and satisfied me more. Thank you Cassie for creating this amazing world and letting us live in it. Such a good ending to an amazing series! I might post a review on it, I haven't had much time recently but maybe in the future.

Revealed (I read it in portuguese; Revelada) (3.5/5)

   > It is not that bad, I love The House of Night series but the characters were pissing me off so much in this book. Zoey was so annoying, Stark was so annoying (and I usually love Stark like all the time), Aphrodite in my opinion did the wrong thing, I was so sad about Erin and Shaunee... I don't like Aurox even tho I love Heath. This book has so many bad reviews on Goodreads, I can't even... I didn't like it very much, it was annoying and it's basically the same thing since I don't know book 5? This is the 11th book! Is it over yet?

    Twisted (In portuguese; Traiçoeiras) (3.5/5)

   > Like The House of Night series, the Pretty Little Liars series is getting annoying. The last book (Wanted) was like THE BEST ending to this series! I was completely shocked and I loved that book. And then  I realized that it wasn't the last one... What? Seriously, after everything that the girls went through they couldn't be more stupid in this book. It was ridiculous. Hanna, are you THAT ingenuous? Spencer, don't you KNOW better? Emily, why did you keep your mouth shut? Didn't you learn anything in this past years? Aria, you have to do something! But something SMART please! I was so disappointed! This book was not necessary! At all! There was so much drama about what happened in Jamaica and it was just so obvious. I'll continue to read this series and I hope that the writer had something in mind when she continued writing the books after Wanted. Just saying...

Have you guys read any of this books? What did you think of them? Comment bellow!

 Now for my August TBR...

Obsidian

So, I read this book in the beginning of this month but I'll only talk about it at my August Wrap Up! I wasn't planning on reading this book now but it was free on IBooks, so I got it. I was in a store waiting for my mom and I decided to read it (I'm not a big fan of ebooks) and I couldn't stop! It is so good! I definitely recommend it!

   Starting over sucks.
When we moved to West Virginia right before my senior year, I'd pretty much resigned myself to thick accents, dodgy internet access, and a whole lot of boring... until I spotted my hot neighbor, with his looming height and eerie green eyes. Things were looking up.
And then he opened his mouth.
Daemon is infuriating. Arrogant. Stab-worthy. We do not get along. At all. But when a stranger attacks me and Daemon literally freezes time with a wave of his hand, well, something... unexpected happens.
The hot alien living next door marks me.
You heard me. Alien. Turns out Daemon and his sister have a galaxy of enemies wanting to steal their abilities, and Daemon's touch has me lit up like the Vegas Strip. The only way I'm getting out of this alive is by sticking close to Daemon until my alien mojo fades.
If I don't kill him first, that is.

The Last Letter from your Lover

My friend gave me the book The Last Letter from your Lover, I am currently reading and I am not liking it very much, I hope it gets better until the end.

When journalist Ellie looks through her newspaper’s archives for a story, she doesn’t think she’ll find anything of interest. Instead she discovers a letter from 1960, written by a man asking his lover to leave her husband – and Ellie is caught up in the intrigue of a past love affair. Despite, or perhaps because of her own romantic entanglements with a married man.                                                                                                        In 1960, Jennifer wakes up in hospital after a car accident. She can’t remember anything – her husband, her friends, who she used to be. And then, when she returns home, she uncovers a hidden letter, and begins to remember the lover she was willing to risk everything for.                                          Ellie and Jennifer’s stories of passion, adultery and loss are wound together in this richly emotive novel – interspersed with real ‘last letters’.

The Giver

I want to read it before I watch the movie! I'm so excited! It looks so good!

Jonas' world is perfect. Everything is under control. There is no war or fear or pain. There are no choices. Every person is assigned a role in the Community. When Jonas turns twelve, he is singled out to receive special training from The Giver. The Giver alone holds the memories of the true pain and pleasure of life. Now, it is time for Jonas to receive the truth. There is no turning back.

If I Stay

I also wanna read it before I watch the movie!

On a day that started like any other,

Mia had everything: a loving family, a gorgeous, admiring boyfriend, and a bright future full of music and full of choices.

The Maze Runner

Before the movie...

Love, Rosie

So many book to movie adaptations!!!

Rosie and Alex are destined for one another, and everyone seems to know it but them. Best friends since childhood, their relationship gets closer by the day, until Alex gets the news that his family is leaving Dublin and moving to Boston. At 17, Rosie and Alex have just started to see each other in a more romantic light. Devastated, the two make plans for Rosie to apply to colleges in the U.S.
She gets into Boston University, Alex gets into Harvard, and everything is falling into place, when on the eve of her departure, Rosie gets news that will change their lives forever: She's pregnant by a boy she'd gone out with while on the rebound from Alex.
Her dreams for college, Alex, and a glamorous career dashed, Rosie stays in Dublin to become a single mother, while Alex pursues a medical career and a new love in Boston. But destiny is a funny thing, and in this novel, structured as a series of clever e-mails, letters, notes, and a trail of missed opportunities, Alex and Rosie find out that fate isn't done with them yet.

Lets see if I'll be able to read all of them! I hope so!

Kisses ;)
